About
Jennifer Lawrence is a graduate of New York Botanical Garden’s Landscape Design program and was formerly the CFO of an affordable housing developer operating throughout the United States.
Growing up, Jennifer spent countless hours in her Grandpa's apple orchard and helping her Mom in her family’s kitchen garden. When she moved to New York City to study economics, she quickly dove into city life, but her love for plants followed her wherever she went. No matter how small her apartments, she always found a way to bring a little green into her space, hauling plants from one place to the next.
A move to Brooklyn enabled Jennifer to have her own outdoor space and she quickly turned a bare roof into an oasis filled with plants. Jennifer since moved to a brownstone and designed her backyard and front garden and felt lucky to have that space to retreat to during the pandemic.
Having realized how life-changing it is to have a sanctuary from the hustle of city living and seeing the roof decks and gardens become the hub for many friend and family celebrations, Jennifer felt inspired to make a career change and today she enjoys helping others transform their urban spaces into their own green havens—places where they, too, can build lasting memories.
